Some trucks already have presence. The Kenworth T950 is one of them.
This iconic Kenworth T950 Legend takes that unmistakable Australian trucking style even further, fitted with Silverback Tri-Ribbed Fenders and Silverback Aussie Curve Chrome Stacks in the upgraded 650C Series.
It’s a combination of classic styling, serious durability and Silverback gear built to stand out on Australian roads.
Kenworth T950 Fitted with Silverback Tri-Ribbed Fenders
Silverback introduced its Tri-Ribbed Fender style to the Australian trucking market, bringing a classic ribbed profile together with the heavier-duty construction and premium finish the Silverback range is known for.
And they’re built to do more than look good.
Silverback stainless fenders are available in 1.6mm and 2.0mm thicknesses, offering a tougher alternative to the thinner 1.2mm options commonly found in the market. The thicker construction provides over 50% greater resistance to stone indentations — another trademark of the strength and durability Silverback is known for.
Other standout Silverback Tri-Ribbed fender features include:
- Distinctive Style
- Ripple-free edges
- 1.6mm Thickness
- Perfect Mirror No. 8 Finish
Silverback’s ripple-free edges are particularly important on a polished truck. Instead of unwanted waves along the flange, the smooth edge creates a cleaner finish when viewed up close — exactly where attention to detail matters.
On a truck as iconic as the Kenworth T950, those details make the difference. See the full range of Truck Mudguards.
Aussie Curve Chrome Stacks — Upgraded to 650C
The upgrade doesn’t stop at the fenders.
This Kenworth T950 is also fitted with Silverback Aussie Curve Chrome Stacks in the 650C Series, combining an unmistakable Aussie exhaust profile with technology developed for the demanding temperatures of modern truck exhaust systems.
Silverback 650C components are tested to withstand temperatures of up to 650°C. The system uses a proprietary multi-phase protection process designed to help prevent chrome discolouration at high temperatures while also resisting the corrosive effects associated with urea reagents such as AdBlue.
For applications where exhaust temperatures can exceed 650°C, Silverback further upgraded the system by incorporating an inner sleeve and AdBlue protection along the full length of the stack — including the curve. This creates additional internal armour against heat-related discolouration and the corrosive effects of urea reagents.
So while the polished chrome delivers the look, there’s serious protection underneath it.
Built to Make a Kenworth T950 Stand Out
A Kenworth T950 doesn’t need much help getting attention. But the right gear can take an already iconic truck to another level.
From the distinctive profile of the Silverback Tri-Ribbed Fenders to the sweeping lines of the Aussie Curve 650C Chrome Stacks, this T950 shows exactly what happens when classic Australian trucking style meets tougher, purpose-built upgrades.
Thicker. Tougher. Distinctively Silverback.
Because when you’re upgrading an Aussie legend, average gear simply won’t cut it.
